Hugh Crisp

Hugh is a non-executive adviser to the Global Executive Board of Knight Frank, and an external member and chair of audit committee of the governing body of Oxford University Press, which furthers the University's objective of excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide. He is an Associate Fellow in Executive Education and the Centre for Professional Service Firms at Oxford University’s Said Business School. He is also the Chair of the Trustees of Emmaus Oxford, a social enterprise for the ex-homeless.

From 2004 – 2008 Hugh was a Global CEO at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, having been a Partner since 1989. He spent seven years in the Paris office establishing a successful cross-border M&A practice before moving into management and leadership roles in the firm, becoming its Chief Executive in 2004.

He has an M.A Law from Oxford University.
